How do I cook a whole chicken? Here we have 3 ways that we prefer to handle whole chickens. - On our smoker, usually 2-3 hours in a roasting pan filled with apple juice or beer and herbs. - In an InstaPot. - Spatchcocked on the grill or in the oven. A whole chicken may seem intimidating to cook, however, what you don't have with your original meal you can easily save for other dishes! We like to save and vacuum pack our leftover chicken for things like chicken pot pie, soups, pasta mixes, nacho's, and many other dishes.
